In today's fast-paced world, opportunities to pause, reflect and discuss are rare. It was such a privilege to spend a day doing so at the recent ComplexitySalon, hosted by my beautiful friends Joy Guo and Addison Born (so proud!!) with the generous guidance of Dr Sophie Wong and Professor Chris Mowles. The focal topic was the uncertainty facing our younger generations, which sparked discussions such as: - Technology, fragmentation, echo chambers and mental health - How to make the most of AI's benefits whilst remaining cognisant of its harms - Sexism, racism and their intersection (for example, how they interact with police discretion) - What truly defines happiness
